Dress warm enough, we are on an arctic island, even during summer it can feel like winter.

The weather conditions can change suddenly!

For safety reasons our guide can refuse customers who are ‘underdressed’.

  • Waterproof and/or windproof jacket (also waterproof pants are recommanded)

  • Hiking boots or solid shoes

  • Fleece or wool sweater, or both

  • Hiking pants. (Jeans is a bad idea. It’s not warm, gets wet very easy and takes long to dry. Unless you got extra waterproof pants to cover them of course.)

  • Hat and gloves

  • Sunglasses. Let’s be optimistic.

  • Lunch packet and drinking bottle.

  • Small backpack to put your extras in (camera, snack, water, sweater).
