OUR TRIPS
We are based in Akureyri, in the north of Iceland and guide travellers on beautiful hikes in the North or through winter landscapes on snowshoes. Leo took us on one of the most memorable adventures of our holiday. Hiking the mountains overlooking Akureyri, he not only shared the history and the culture of the people, but also some of the economic and environmental tradeoffs necessary to ensure a sustainable future for this island. When an unexpected blizzard enveloped us, he was prepared with everything from extra gloves to hot tea!
From initial booking to actually meeting up the experience was smooth and easy. After a short car trip to the hiking destination we had a wonderful day with Leo who was patient, informative and well prepared (he even had walking sticks in case we didn't have our own).
